Antonov 225 Mriya the biggest plane

Antonov An-225 Mriya (Ukrainian: Антонов Ан Мрія-225) is a cargo aircraft designed by the Soviet Antonov Design Bureau. This aircraft is the world's heaviest aircraft. At first An-225 is designed to transport the Buran orbiter, and an expansion of a previously successful aircraft made ​​An-124 Ruslan. Last name is Mriya aircraft (Мрiя) means "Dream" (Inspiration) in Russian language.


The aircraft An-225 first flew on 21 December 1988. And in 1989 this aircraft was first formally introduced to the public at the Paris Air Show.
